Rise Up is a program for students in grades 7-12 to explore through the power of discovery and team work, experience new things through enrichment activities, and be challenged in their Christian walk. They will find joy in learning as they are encouraged academically, their imaginations are stimulated as they unfold their gifts and talents, and where they can connect and engage with a community who values their worth.
The Mission of Rise Up is to create a pipeline of empowered youth who will form the next generation of leaders available to fill critical roles in their community and the business, public, and nonprofit sectors.
Rise Up begins with hands-on, project-based modules that touch on each of the 12 Vocational Branches.
Then Rise Up moves to a deeper look at the 12 Vocational Branches and the occupations available in each.
Rise Up participants are connected with business and community leaders to gain valuable hands-on experience in the Vocational Branches they choose.
Applications for the 2022-2023 Rise Up Program will be accepted through July 7.
New applicants who have never participated in Rise Up must be entering grades 7-9.
Parents will be notified of acceptance by July 11, and there will be a parent meeting for participants accepted into the program on July 12.
Due to limited space, all applicants may not be able to enter the program at the start of the 2022-2023 school year. If an applicant is not accepted, they will be placed on the wait list, and the parent will be contacted if an opening becomes available.
